1.23 lakh children will be given the Khasra, Rubella vaccine in the block.


 All the government schools and madrasa teachers of the block were trained in the BRC Bhawan campus located in block headquarters on Monday for the Khasra Rubella vaccination campaign, as per the district official Mahendra Kumar. In this order, Dr. Sushil Kumar, Medical Officer of Pethia Primary Health Center highlighted the importance of the campaign. Appeal for cooperation for the success of the campaign.

In-charge medical officer SK Nagar said that the campaign is being started by the health department from January 15 on the eradication of measles and rubella disease. It requires vaccination of all children from nine months to 15 years. Measles is a deadly disease. With this effect, the child is at risk of infection of diseases like pneumonia, diarrhea and brain infection. Rubella vaccine is a powerful way of preventing disease. Health manager Ajay Sah said that 1.23 lakh children have been targeted to get the vaccine in the block. Several main sites have been selected for this. These will be permanently deployed for measles rubella in government and non-government educational institutions, RI regular vaccination, brick kiln, primary health center of the nomad area, additional health center, sub-health center and referral hospital. On this occasion, Ph.D. physician, teacher and personnel were present on the occasion, including PATIA PHC in-charge, Dr. SK, SMC UNICEF Ejaz Afzal, Basant Kumar, Ajay Sah, Rakesh Kumar, Mu Jule Ashraf and Suryakant Jha.
